Complaints procedure

If something has gone wrong, tell us.

We take every complaint seriously. Here is how to raise one, and what happens next.

1. How to complain

Please put your complaint in writing, marked “Complaint”, with the property address, what happened, and what you would like us to do to put it right.

2. How we handle it

  1. Acknowledge. We will confirm we have received your complaint within 3 working days.
  2. Investigate. A director will review the matter, look at our records and speak to the people involved.
  3. Respond. We will send you a full written response within 15 working days of acknowledging your complaint. If we need longer, we will tell you why and when to expect it.

3. If you are still unhappy

If you are not satisfied with our final response, or we have not resolved your complaint within 8 weeks, you can refer it to Property Redress, the independent redress scheme we belong to (membership PRS054558, Jenkins Property Lettings Ltd). Property Redress asks that you contact them within 12 months of our final response.

Disputes about the return of a tenancy deposit are handled by the Tenancy Deposit Scheme.
